FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA (USA) – Marine security and tracking products supplier GOST™ (Global Ocean Security Technologies – formerly Paradox Marine) recently hosted over 75 dealers from the US, the Caribbean, the Middle East and Africa at its annual sales and technical training seminar at the Bahia Mar Resort in Fort Lauderdale.
“The security segment of the marine market continues to grow globally as evidenced by our attendees. We were very pleased with the turn out and the positive feedback we received regarding the event, our product line and the new products in our pipeline,” said GOST President & CEO Jay Keenan.
The seminar featured an overview of the GOST product line, sales and marketing tips and an advance look at new products in development, followed by over five hours of training in vessel security system installation and programming, customer service and support.
“We were very excited about the large turnout of certified marine electronics dealers who attended our largest conference to date. At the end of the day, the two most important things are properly installed equipment and a happy customer. A certified technician who is educated about the product bridges the gap between manufacturer and boat owner,” said Brian Kane, GOST Director of Research and Development.
