FT. LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA (USA) – September 29, 2009 – The Ultra Low Light PM Daylight AV Dome Camera from boat security supplier GOST turns night into day to deliver exceptional security and surveillance monitoring on board. It will be formally introduced this week at the 2009 National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) Convention and Expo at the Sanibel Harbor Resort & Spa in Ft. Myers, Florida.
Using a new low light technology, this rugged, marine grade, water-resistant and tamper proof camera eliminates the need for Infrared LED’s that turn the view a monochrome green at night. Instead with as little as 0.001 LUX, the Ultra Low Light PM Daylight AV Dome Camera makes it look like daytime in the middle of the night. The photo below was taken at 10 pm – actual lighting conditions on the left – and what the camera saw on the right.
The Ultra Low Light PM Daylight AV Dome Camera incorporates 580 TV lines in color for high resolution and a 2.8 to 11mm Vari-focal lens for outstanding picture quality. The camera also incorporates 2nd generation 3D Digital Noise Reduction and is sealed to military specifications with special sealants in areas where water could breach. Available in black or white
